Store in Bellingham, WA to label shelves with GMO Alert Tags

 

Terra Organica and Bargainica, an upscale, organic-focused store in Bellingham, Washington is systematically adding the tags like you see in the photo above to all their products that likely contain GMOs. Notice that these products aren’t even run-of-the-mill conventional products from companies like Kraft or Campbells or Nabisco. This is supposed to be the pure, high end stuff and it’s GMO.

This is what is being done in this store, imagine if our own local health food store or organic store started labeling shelves with GMO alerts about the products we automatically assume are the best choices.
